Coat Specs

Our fabric is a wonderful 6 oz. all cotton white twill - breathable; washable; chlorine bleachable - easy to wear, cool and comfortable.

Each Great Chef Originals™ jacket has a left a three-section sleeve pocket for pen, marker, and thermometer. We have added two on-seam pockets - side seam for the men; at the front princess seams for the ladies - to hold various useful items that do not go in the sleeve pocket, i.e.: few dollars, credit card, ID.  Our innovative GCO utility pocket™ is in the back, out of the way, zipped shut. We intend it to be used for a cell phone, credit cards, wallet, cash or whatever.

Each Great Chef Originals™ chef coat has 3 zippers - one on each sleeve, for easy open and to roll the sleeve to 3/4 and keep the exterior of the sleeve clean while cooking, then, if a chef is called out to the front of the house, just roll them back down, zip up and your sleeves are clean. The third zipper is in the back and closes our "GCO Utility Pocket™". All are invisible zippers to keep them as inconspicuous as possible. 

GCO™ chef coats are tailored to better fit the body which in turn restricts movement less and that means that the whole jacket doesn't move when you lift your arm. The front and back princess cut on the ladies jackets means a female chef isn't wearing a big bag meant for a man The fitting seams in the back of the men's jacket means his jacket won't bag at the waist.

All edges and back detail have single needle topstitch for added crispness.
